CHENNAI: The Madras High Court ordered the Tamil Nadu Police to give permission for the RSS rally on November 6.

The Court has issued this order in contempt of court case against the denial of permission by the Tamil Nadu government.

The court has also warned that if the government refuses to grant permission, it will face contempt of court proceedings. The case filed by the RSS has been adjourned to October 31.

Earlier, the Tamil Nadu Government denied permission to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) route march on October 2 in Tamil Nadu. Citing law and order issues due to protests by certain groups in the event of the RSS taking out a route march on Gandhi Jayanthi, the government had conveyed to it not to proceed with its plan, a senior RSS leader said.
