CHENNAI: Former AIADMK MLA from Kunnam, RT Ramachandran, who had announced that he would be joining the DMK, has reversed his decision and said he is quitting political life, said a Maalaimalar report.

Who is Ramachandran?

Ramachandran was elected as the MLA from the Kunnam assembly constituency in 2016 as an AIADMK candidate. In the 2021 assembly election, he was defeated by SS Sivasankar of the DMK by a margin of 6,329 votes. He has also served as the Perambalur district secretary of AIADMK before announcing his decision to quit politics.
