CHENNAI: Former chief minister J Jayalalithaa’s confidant and ousted AIADMK leader VK Sasikala on Saturday said that there will be a favourable condition where everyone will come together in AIADMK before the elections.

Sasikala, who held a press conference at her T Nagar residence in Chennai today said, "I don't see anyone in the AIADMK divided, everyone should come together. There will be a favourable condition where everyone will come together in the AIADMK before the elections."

She added, "There are many governments in states of India and there can be only one at the Centre. Those living in every state also pay taxes to the Centre. Therefore, the state government here has the right to ask our needs. People believe in us and vote for us. We have to do good to the people. The central government and the state government should not keep fighting. People did not vote for fighting."

She criticised the "deterioration" of the law and order situation in Tamil Nadu. "There are good officers in Tamil Nadu's police department. We have to use them properly", she added.
