Cyclone Montha: Rescheduling and regulation of trains across TN

Train No 22870 Dr MGR Chennai Central - Visakhapatnam Express Scheduled to leave at 10.00 am on October 28 is rescheduled to leave at 11.50 pm on Tuesday.

CHENNAI: In view of Cyclone Montha, Southern Railway has rescheduled or regulated certain express trains operated from Tamil Nadu on October 28 ( Tuesday).

Train No 22870 Dr MGR Chennai Central - Visakhapatnam Express Scheduled to leave at 10.00 am on October 28 is rescheduled to leave at 11.50 pm on Tuesday.

Train No 22604 Villupuram - Kharagpur Express SPL scheduled to leave at 11.05 am on Tuesday is rescheduled to leave at 07.00 pm on the same day

Train No 12840 Dr MGR Chennai Central - Howrah Mail scheduled to leave at 07 .00 pm on October 28 is rescheduled to leave at 10.40 pm on the same day.

Train No 12664 Tiruchirapalli - Howrah Express scheduled to leave at 1.35 pm on Tuesday is rescheduled to leave at 05.50 pm on the same day, said a press note issued by Southern Railway.

Train to be Regulated enroute

Train No 18190 Ernakulam - Tata Express scheduled to leave Ernakulam at 07.15 hrs on 28.10.25 will be suitably regulated enroute by 90 minutes at Trivandrum Division and by 90 minutes at Salem Division to ensure safety so that the train reaches cyclone prone areas after the cyclone has crossed.
