Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Rajagopal Sunkara later said, “As per the ECI, the Corporation will only check the details of MP, MLAs’ and important persons in their respective constituencies. In the electoral rolls released, the names of Manoj Kumar and his father Suraj were in Hindi. Hence the same was released without change. If Manoj Kumar seeks a change, it can be done.”
