Chief Secy in consultative meeting with 5 District Collectors

With a view to containing the rapidly rising Covid-19 pandemic across the state of Tamil Nadu, the Chief Secretary had a consultative meeting with 5 district Collectors today.

District collectors of Chennai, Madurai, Thiruvannamalai, Velore and Theni participated in a consultative meeting with K.Shanmugam, Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu through a video conference.

It may be recalled that Covid-19 has been spreading rapidly in the five districts of Chennai, Madurai, Thiruvannamalai, Velore and Theni in the recent past.

It was agreed that video counseling be intensified for corona prevention activities in the all the districts concerned. Further consultation through video conferencing is scheduled to take place at the General Secretariat at 4.30 pm today.
