AIADMK man arrested for objectionable post on CM

Police said N Subramanian from Sarkar Samakulam and a functionary of AIADMK’s Coimbatore North IT wing has posted objectionable material on social media targeting the Chief Minister and his family members.

COIMBATORE: An AIADMK IT wing functionary has been arrested in Coimbatore for defamatory posts on social media against Chief Minister MK Stalin and his family members.

Police said N Subramanian from Sarkar Samakulam and a functionary of AIADMK’s Coimbatore North IT wing has posted objectionable material on social media targeting the Chief Minister and his family members.

Based on a complaint, the Coimbatore district cybercrime police arrested Subramanian on Tuesday under IT Act and various sections of IPC, including 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and 505 (publishing or circulating rumours).
