Former AIADMK minister C Ve Shanmugam was arrested for participating in a hunger strike in Villupuram today.
Former AIADMK minister C Ve Shanmugam led a hunger strike in Villupuram to condemn the Tamil Nadu government for canceling gold subsidies, incentives, laptops for students that were implemented during the last AIADMK regime.
Police have also arrested more than 500 protesters who were fasting with him.
