Dindigul Dragons had a below par outing in the first innings as skipper Hari Nishanth's innings was the only notable feat, whose fifty went to vain with no contribution from the rest of his team.

Chepauk's Sai Kishore's spell with the ball was the downfall of the Dragons. Opting to bowl, The defending champions' spinners executed their plan perfectly to add to Dindigul's worries. With the going rate, the Super Gillies has every chance to enter the finals.

Brief Scores: Hari Nishaanth 56, M Silambarasan 11, Vimal Khumar 11; Ravisrinivasn Sai Kishore 3/14, Ramadoss Alexander 2/3
