CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu earned a four-wicket win over Hyderabad in the quarter-finals of the BCCI Women’s U-19 T20 tournament at Gurugram Cricket Ground (SRNCC) Sultanpur, Haryana on Monday.

Opting to bat first, Hyderabad scored 96 for five with skipper and wicket-keeper K Nidhi top-scoring with 38. In reply, TN chased down the score with one over to spare with opener S Rinaaz scoring 23. TN will meet Maharashtra in the second semi-finals on Wednesday.

Brief scores: Hyderabad 96/5 in 20 overs (K Nidhi 38, Kavya 26) lost to Tamil Nadu 97/6 in 19 overs (S Rinaaz 23, Jazmine Gill 2/15)
