Sethu FC finishes third in Group A

Sethu Football Club (Madurai) held Rising Student Club (Odisha) to a 1-1 draw in its final qualifying Group A match in Kolhapur, Maharashtra on Sunday in the AIFF-Indian Women’s League.

With seven points from two wins, a draw and a loss in the all play-all five-team group, Sethu FC, the only team from Tamil Nadu in the premier women’s competition organised by the All India Football Federation, finished third in the group behind topper Rising Student Club and Indira Gandhi AS&E.
