In the first innings, Nellai was bowled out for 112 in 47.4 overs. A MD Adhil was the team’s top scorer, making 41 runs. But, K Vaidyanathan and S Aarave Ahuja (4/26) did magic with the ball to reduce Nellai to a small total. It was not an easy chase for Lady Andal, which lost five wickets.
Vaidyanathan and R Rishi (25 not out) kept their calm and guided their side across the line. Former India cricketer Robin Singh gave away the prizes to the winner and runner-up.
