This will see Bedia become the longest serving foreign player for the club, with the 2020-21 season set to be his fourth in FC Goa colours. “I am thrilled to continue my journey with FC Goa,” said the Spanish midfielder upon penning a new contract.

“It has been a wonderful experience for me so far, and I am excited to be a part of the future of this team. I have had some great moments and want to achieve even more success during my time here.” The Spaniard was signed at the start of the 2017-18 ISL season from Real Zaragoza.

With Bedia at the heart of the midfield, the Gaurs marched on to the semi-finals in both ISL and the Super Cup in the 2017-18 season.

The following year, the midfielder switched positions higher up the pitch, scoring seven goals and assisting five, in a campaign that saw FC Goa reach the summit clash of ISL. A month later, he helped the club to its maiden title in the Super Cup. In the 2019-20 season, Bedia was mostly used as a substitute.
