The 21-year-old has already joined the Andhra Pradesh team, making him the youngest trainer of a first-class side in India. On his learning at Leeds, Arjun said: “The assignments are marked critically and require you to be innovative at all times. The course itself is designed to ensure you work out of your comfort zone.” Arjun, who is currently in Vizag helping Andhra prepare for the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy, added, “My plan was always to work in a team environment. I am thankful to Andhra for having given me this opportunity. My father has been my biggest inspiration and I am hopeful of working with the national side as he did.” As a member of the S&C community, Shankar is proud of Arjun’s achievement.
