The fishermen left for sea on December 10 and were scheduled to return by December 15, Deputy Director of Fisheries, Kakinada, Kanaka Raju told PTI today.

Since they did not arrive, a Coast Guard boat conducted a thorough search in the sea and located them.

They brought the fishermen safely to the shore last night by towing the boat to Kakinada, he added.

According to the officer the boat is handed over to its owner in presence of fisheries department officials.
