Woman snatched of chain in North Chennai

A bike-borne duo snatched three sovereigns from a woman on Tiruvottiyur High Road on Monday evening. The victim, Yogeshwari (43), of Korukkupet was returning home after attending an event with her husband. On Kothandaraman Street, two men on bike suddenly snatched her chain.

Alert Yogeshwari held on to the chain, but the duo managed to escape with a part of the chain. Based on her complaint, the Tondiarpet police have launched a hunt for the suspects.
