The saga of veteran SA Chandrasekhar (SAC) floating a political party was thought of to have come to an end with his son and actor 'Thalapathy' Vijay's statement which categorically denied the star's knowledge or association with this initiative.

However, the drama continues with Vijay's mother and renowned classical singer Shoba Chandrasekhar saying that she signed in the papers which SAC said was for starting an association.

But later when another sign was asked to her for registering a political party, she declined to do so.

Confirming that things are frosty between 'Thalapathy' Vijay and SAC, Shoba said Vijay is not on talking terms with his father because SAC didn't stop making political comments despite Vijay's insistence.

She also said she has withdrawn membership from the party SAC has floated and commented that it would be better if Vijay himself makes a call whether to join politics or not.
