Dr Beale was first flown in on September 30 to assess the CM’s condition, while pulmonologist Dr G C Khilnani, anaesthetist Dr Anjan Trikha and cardiologist Dr Nitish Nai all from AIIMS were in Chennai on October 5 and 6. They left after consultation, but now have been recalled for the CM’s treatment. Meanwhile, continuing their crackdown on rumour mongers regarding CM’s health, the police on Thursday arrested two more persons for allegedly circulating rumours on social networking sites on the health status of Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and warned that spreading such rumours is an offence for which law prescribes imprisonment of over seven years. In the latest arrests, 28-year-old Mani Selvam, a bank employee, hailing from Ottapidaram Taluk, Tuticorin and 42-year-old Bala Sundaram hailing from Pammal, Chennai, were arrested.
