CHENNAI: Two college students from Tiruvallur drowned in Puzhal lake on Sunday. The deceased Samraj (20) and Vijayaraj (22) were residing at NSK Street in Puzhal. The duo who went to bathe in the Puzhal lake went missing. Their friends immediately raised an alarm and the fire and rescue personnel were alerted. However, the duo could not be traced. On Monday morning, their bodies were washed ashore. A case was registered and the bodies were sent to Tiruvallur GH for postmortem examination.
