Chennai
The earlier raid was carried out in connection with the actor’s earnings from his last move Bigil. I-T sources clarified that it was not a raid or search. It may be recalled that a few days ago, the Income Tax investigators had questioned Lalith Kumar, co-producer of the actor’s current movie Master in connection with certain financial transaction.
It may be recalled that the sleuths could not find anything significant during the I-T searches carried out at Vijay’ residences last time, while they had seized Rs 77 crore cash and gold from the premises belonging to film financiers. Taxmen reaching the shooting spot of Master in Neyveli and bringing the actor to Chennai had attracted a lot of media attention.
