CHENNAI: Justice AD Jagadish Chandira who was hearing the criminal original petitions filed by the actor had asked the accused to file different counter-affidavits in connection with the four cases filed against him.

According to Shekhar, he shared a Facebook post that was originally posted by his US-based friend without reading the content of the post. “I am not shy of tendering an apology for committing the mistake. Also, I am ready to appear before the prosecution for enquiry whenever it is required,” Shekhar submitted.

Recently, police said that he was not cooperating. As the HC directed Shekhar to appear for enquiry, he appeared before the Central Crime Branch (CCB) on April 2. On recording the submissions, the judge adjourned the matter to April 18.
