Pallikaranai police station closed as four test positive

The Pallikaranai police station was closed on Monday after four of the police personnel there tested positive for COVID-19.

Sources said that after the station Sub-Inspector, who was having fever for the past few days, tested positive, all the cops there were subjected to tests. The results confirmed that the Pallikaranai Law and Order Inspector, a sub-inspector and a constable were infected. Sources said the family members and contacts of all the four cops will be tested.
