Along with his friend Azhagesan, he snatched two mobile phones from Ramkumar and Santhosh of the same locality while they were travelling on a bike on Wednesday. The victims were intercepted by the duo and robbed at knifepoint. Based on a complaint by Ramkumar, the police registered a case and went through the CCTV footage. Then, the police intercepted a duo riding a two-wheeler on suspicion on Thursday. As they tried to flee, the police managed to secure one.
