Man found dead inside KMC; suicide suspected

CHENNAI: The police are probing the circumstances which led to the death of a 22-year-old youth from Arunachal Pradesh inside Government Kilpauk medical College hospital premises.

Preliminary investigations have suggested that he died by suicide. The deceased was identified as Iliaho, who was employed in Erode.

Police investigations revealed that the youth developed health complications and was being taken back to his home town in Arunachal Pradesh. But when he started vomiting blood, he was admitted to the hospital.

During the early hours of Tuesday, the youth was found in a pool of blood outside the block where he was admitted. On information, police secured his body and sent it for post mortem examination.
