CHENNAI: Kishore Kumar (32) of KK Nagar was arrested on Wednesday for harassing a 21-year-old woman on a busy Vadapalani road on Tuesday.
Per her complaint, the woman was walking along the 100 Feet Road in Vadapalani after work with her friend when the miscreant approached her on a two-wheeler and misbehaved.
She reported the incident at the Vadapalani Police Station. A case under relevant sections of the BNS and the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act was registered.
Kishore was arrested on Wednesday after the investigation led by the Vadapalani Police Inspector, and the two-wheeler used during the alleged incident was impounded. The arrested accused was produced before a magistrate court and remanded in judicial custody.
