The keynote address was delivered by Peter Van Geit, explorer, alpinist, minimalist and ultra runner from Belgium.

He enlightened the young graduates about the cultural and educational differences between the west and the east. He stressed the need for the Indian students in acquiring critical & creative thinking, problem solving techniques and analytical skills.

Van Geit advised the students to follow their passion and allow the rest to fall in line. He observed that India is going through a sea change and felt the need to uphold one’s own culture. The conference also witnessed many speakers from the corporate world. Around 600 students participated in the event and learnt the importance of bridging the gap between the curriculum and the requirements of the industry.
