IndianOil marks 77th Republic Day at Chennai headquarters

CHENNAI: The IndianOil Corporation (IOC) on Monday commemorated the 77th Republic Day at its IndianOil Bhavan here.

M Anna Durai, executive director and state head–TN, unfurled the Tricolour in the presence of M Sudhakar, executive director (regional services), southern region, and senior officials.

Addressing employees, Durai underscored the resilience of India’s democratic foundations and urged the workforce to remain guided by integrity, inclusivity and responsibility in both professional and civic life. Sudhakar highlighted IOC’s strong brand performance on the global stage, reaffirming its leadership role in the energy sector.

The celebrations featured a disciplined march-past by the Territorial Army and IOC’s security personnel. Long Service Awards were presented to employees completing 25 and 30 years of service, while incentive awards were given to employees’ children for higher educational achievements. Cultural performances by staff marked the conclusion of the event.
