Former AIADMK Minister Gokula Indira tests positive for Covid19

Former minister and current spokesperson of the AIADMK Gokula Indira had tested positive for COVID-19, on Monday. She has been admitted to the Government Covid-19 Hospital in Kings Institute, Guindy.

It can be seen that quite a few sitting MLAs, MPs and bureaucrats are getting infected with the covid virus, while few among them succumb to it, unfortunately.

Meanwhile, on Monday, former AIADMK Minister and party spokesperson, Gokula Indira was tested positive for the COVID-19 viral infection. Ms.Indira was reportedly suffering from fever and cold for the past few days. She is now admitted in the Government Covid-19 Hospital in Kings Institute, Guindy, for further treatment.

Gokula Indira served as the cabinet minister of Tamil Nadu holding different portfolios, during Jayalalithaa's regime. She represents Anna Nagar Constituency, in Chennai.

Apparently, Gokula Indira had also participated in the recent party event, on October 7, in the party headquarters. She was seen in the close proximity of many senior leaders while the party high command announced the CM candidate for the upcoming polls.
