Alliance Française of Madras will be hosting one of the first online digital media art festivals in South Asia called confine International Digital Art Festival from November 6 to 29.

migrator

Chennai

In this online event, there will be exhibitions, workshops and panel discussions and will be freely accessible on www.deconfine.org and Facebook account of Alliance Francaise. The theme of the festival is art at the intersection of science, technology and media, created to reimagine humanity’s relationship with these rapidly evolving technologies. The artists and other creators featured in this festival have used technology to tell stories about the world around them, to critically examine and/or reinvent the usual ways of using these tools, and to ask questions about the future of the human-tech relationship. Technologies used by the artists include film, sound, Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, etc. The works are presented in video format, or as interactive websites. Many of the works have been adapted specially for online viewing.
