Errors in Class 11 English one question paper, say students

After facing two exams in language subject, Class 11 State Board students, who took up English one exam on Tuesday, claimed that there were a few mistakes in the question paper.

“There was an error in the 17th question where one of the fill in the blanks was not correct,” K Sai Shreya, Class 11 student of Vidyodaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Nungambakkam said. 

She also said that in the 27th question, ‘compulsory’ word was missing. Similarly, many students demanded that marks should be given for the questions, which were mistakenly printed. 

Meanwhile, the flying squad caught three students, who indulged in malpractices in the examination hall, one student was caught in Ramanathapuram district and two students at Salem district were involved in copying. Sources from the directorate of school examination said action would be taken against those students.

The Class 11 students will face English two exams on Wednesday without a break after which they will take up several main subjects on Friday. The Class 11 examination will go on till April 9, 2018. 

There were also mixed reactions from the Class 12 CBSE students, who appeared for Chemistry exam. 

While a few students said that the paper was bit tough while some of them said it was easy. The next exam for the Class 10 CBSE students is on Thursday.
