The aim of the exhibition is to develop a scientific spirit and curiosity among the students, help in promoting interest in science and technology among the younger generation, to encourage problem solving approach and develop appropriate technologies by applying scientific ideas indaily situations.
Nearly 300 students participated in the event to show their projects under various themes. More than 2,000 students visited the exhibition and appreciated the innovative ideas of thebudding scientists.
The chief guest was former director, DRDO, S Christopher, who was also a professor of Department of Electrical engineering, IIT Madras. The other dignitaries present at the event were principal of the college R S Kumar; director general T S Sridhar, SRM Group of Institution, Ramapuram & Trichy campus and Head of Department Ravichandran, Department of Chemistry, Easwari Engineering College.
Apart from that, principal Maya, Sri Chaithanya Techno, K K Nagar; principal Deepa Sriram, PonVidhyashram CBSE School were the chief guests for the valedictory function, who distributed prizes for the winners.
