ED conducts searches in Chennai in FEMA violation case

The raids are part of an ongoing investigation into alleged violations of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), reports said.

CHENNAI: The Enforcement Directorate on Monday conducted searches at multiple places here and some other locations as part of a foreign exchange violation-linked investigation.

About ten locations are being searched in a case filed under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), sources said.

The investigation is linked to alleged violation of the provisions of the foreign exchange law, they said.

Details are awaited.
