Dr Simon case: 8 accused get bail

The Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, has granted condition bail to eight accused who were held for obstructing Dr Simon Hercules’s burial in Kilpauk.

Citing the HC order granting bail for few others, Fifth Metropolitan Magistrate K Sivasathivel Kannan granted bail to Selvi, Sudhakar, Anthony Raj, Manimaran, Nilesh, Bakiyam, Dili Raj and Saravanan, and directed them to execute own bond of Rs 10,000 each to the prison officials.
