“The vote slips are being sent over posts to the shareholders. It’s unacceptable,” he said. Ramadoss recalled the earlier attempt by the government to change the company’s name to National Lignite Corporation 10 years ago. He said the idea was dropped after he opposed the move.
“The people of Tamil Nadu will never allow such thing to happen” he said. Ramadoss accused the state government, which holds 5 per cent share in the company, of not showing any concern in the matter.
