Concert-goers with valid ticket can travel free in Chennai Metro Rail on March 29

The public with valid tickets will be allowed a round-trip journey between their chosen Metro stations and Nandanam Metro station on Saturday by scanning the unique QR code on their digital Metro pass, a press release detailed.

CHENNAI: Attendees of Chennai's fusion concert scheduled from 7 pm to 10 pm on Saturday at the YMCA grounds in Nandanam can avail of free travel on Chennai Metro Rail on March 29 in the evening.

The public with valid tickets will be allowed a round-trip journey between their chosen Metro stations and Nandanam Metro station on Saturday by scanning the unique QR code on their digital Metro pass, a press release detailed.

The special metro passes can be used for one round trip (two entries and two exits) and can be scanned at the automatic gates at the Metro stations for smooth entry and exit. The last train from Nandanam to Wimco Nagar will be at 11.17 pm, and to the Airport will be at 11.37 pm.

Entry at Nandanam station shall be restricted ten minutes before respective trains. The last Metro train from Dr MGR Chennai Central will be at 11.52 pm.
