College student shot over video game feud

Mukesh Kumar of Vandalur's Venkatamangalam has fallen prey to the video game madness that is running amok unabated.

Mukesh is a third-year polytechnic student. On Tuesday, a loud gunshot was heard while he was playing video games in his house with his friends Udaya and Vijay.

His parents weren't present in the house.

When the neighbours came in they saw Mukesh in a pool of blood. He was exactly shot on his forehead.

The matter was taken to the Thalambur police station, the questions that needs to be addressed is how and from where did the gun come.

As Mukesh breathed his last in a private hospital, the police nabbed Udaya and they are in hot pursuit of Vijay who has been absconding ever since the incident.
