Chopper crash: Tri-colour to fly at half-mast as mark of respect to Rawat

The national flag was flown at half-mast at the war memorial near the Chennai Secretariat in honor of Gen Rawat's demise.

The chopper, with 14 persons on board, including CDS Bipin Rawat, his wife and other defence personnel, crashed a few minutes before landing near Coonoor.

Prime Minister Modi, President Ramnath Govind, world leaders and Chief Minister MK Stalin mourned the death of CDS Rawat.
