CHENNAI: The Anti-narcotics police (ANIU) arrested Deepak (30) and Madhavan (27) for possession of methamphetamine in the city on Saturday.
The cops were on vigil following a tip-off on the movement of drugs in CYS Road near Perambur. When intercepted, the suspects were evasive in their replies.
They were detained, and their belongings were searched.
Police searched and seized 24 grams of methamphetamine from the duo. The pair was remanded in judicial custody.
