CHENNAI: As promised, the Greater Chennai Corporation has released the Climate Action Plan in Tamil language so that the residents can send their opinion.
The translated version of the document as well as the original English document, is available in the official website of civic body.
"C40 Cities organisation has prepared the draft action plan with some recommendations. Citizens were asked to send their suggestions on the report to chennaiclimateactionplan@gmail.com before Monday (September 26)," a Chennai Corporation official had said.
As the Tamil version is uploaded, citizens can send suggestions before October 26.
A Chennai Corporation official said that changes will be made in the report based on suggestions from the public and meetings will conducted with elected representatives and environmental organisations before finalising the action plan.
