Burglary attempt at ATM leaves machine damaged

Unidentified persons attempted to break open an ATM on Arcot Road in Kodambakkam on Tuesday night in vain.

however, they stole the CCTV camera and DVR fixed at the ATM. According to police, customers, who went to withdraw money from the ATM, found that it has been damaged and alerted the bank. They rushed to the spot only to see that the CCTV camera and DVR stolen. Based on bank official’s complaint, Vadapalani police have registered a case and collected finger prints from the machine. Further investigation is on.
