Auction of impounded vehicles from September 19

A total of 431 vehicles, including, 394 two-wheelers, 10 three-wheelers, 26 four-wheelers and one six-wheeler that have been confiscated in connection with prohibition cases will be auctioned off

TIRUVALLUR: Collector Alby John Varghese on Tuesday announced that vehicles impounded by the Prohibition Enforcement Division and police stations in Tiruvallur would be auctioned to the public between September 19 to 21.

A total of 431 vehicles, including, 394 two-wheelers, 10 three-wheelers, 26 four-wheelers and one six-wheeler that have been confiscated in connection with prohibition cases will be auctioned off at the Armed Forces Grounds in the Office of the District Superintendent of Police, Tiruvallur from 10 am.

Similarly, 22 vehicles, including water trucks and ambulances, which have been impounded in seven districts of the North-West zone will be sold at a public auction at the Vellore District Fire Rescue Station at 11 am on September 19. Those interested in the auction have been requested to bring the necessary documents for purchase of these vehicles.
