CHENNAI: 45th annual celebrations of St.Jude's Shrine began in Vanuvampet, Chennai.

People of all religions flock to this abode.

The 45th-annual celebrations of the famous St.Jude's Shrine began on Thursday with a flag-hoisting ceremony. The programme was conducted under the leadership of Rev.Dr.John Bosco, Vicar General of Chengalpattu Diocese.

On the 2nd day (Friday) the Morning holy Mass, Evening Rosary and Eucharist adoration were also held.

Rev.Fr.Victor Vinoth, Parish Priest of Church of our lady of Presentation, Manampathi Kandigai,

Rev.Fr.Ravi Joseph, Parish Priest of Holy Immaculate Mary Church, RN Kandikai, Elanagar, Rev.Fr.Francis Gladwin, Assistant Parish Priest of St. Francis Xavier Church, Pallavaram participated in the ceremonies.

Bishop Most. Rev.Dr.A. Neethinathan animated the holy mass on Saturday immediately after Rosary and St.Jude Novena.

A large number of people participated and witnessed the holy event.

On the final day, the 30 October, at 11:00 am the feast holy mass in English will be animated by Rev.Fr.C. Paulraj, Director of Thomas Academy Senior Secondary CBSE school.

A special thanksgiving Mass and holy Flag lowering ceremony will be led by Rev.Fr.Yesu Antony, Director, Pastoral Centre, Chengalpattu diocese.

All the arrangements for the holy events are well organised by Rector Rev .Dr . A. Martin Joseph and the Assistant Parish Priest, Rev Fr.John Robert of St.Jude's Shrine, Vanuvampet, Chennai.
