After reaching the police station, he allegedly tried to misbehave with a woman constable who was on sentry duty. When the woman constable started shouting at him, two other women police officials who were inside the station rushed to her rescue.

As they tried to take him into custody and put him inside the lockup, Raja took out a knife that was in his possession and tried to threaten the women officials. He allegedly threatened to slash their faces with the knife. However, the three policewomen managed to overpower him and confined him in the lockup.

Soon, their male colleagues reached there and started arrest proceedings based on a complaint from one of the woman constables. Officials claimed on Thursday that before starting his misadventures at the police station, Raja, who is into petty crimes, said he wanted to go to jail.
