2 men run over while crossing railway track

Tiruvallur railway police have registered a case and are investigating to ascertain the identities of the victims. The bodies have been sent to Tiruvallur Government Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

TIRUVALLUR: Two people were killed when they were hit by moving trains in two separate incidents, while attempting to cross the railway track in Tiruvallur on Friday. The identities of the victims aged approximately 35 and 22 remain unknown.

In the first incident, the victim was attempting to cross the railway tracks between Nemillicherry - Tiruninravur when he was hit by an oncoming train, which killed him on the spot. Similarly, a 22-year-old man who tried running across the railway tracks between Putlur and Tiruvallur was killed instantly when he was hit by a train. Tiruvallur railway police have registered a case and are investigating to ascertain the identities of the victims. The bodies have been sent to Tiruvallur Government Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
