Life’s lessons: three scholars, one fool

It is better to be practical than learned.

migrator

Chennai

A village struck by famine houses four friends in it. While three of them are extremely clever and learned, the other one friend Shivanand, is considered to be a lazy fool.

One fine day, the four friends decided to go to a place called Manasa, which is considered an asylum for scholars. On their way, they come across a hurdle. They have to pass through a forest, but they come across the bones of a lion.

One among the four friends decided to show his knowledge by recreating the lion’s skeleton. While another friend reconstructs the lion’s muscles and structure, the third one attempts to show off his superiority by breathing life into the lion.

Shivanand, the one considered to be uneducated, lazy and a fool tries to stop them and warns them of the consequences of their plans but they do not stop. While the three ‘learned’ friends foolishly proceed with their plans, Shivanand climbs a tree to save himself. The lion then comes to life and devours the three learned fools.

At the end of the day, Shivanand’s practical nature saves him.
