We had to recently prepare actress and singer Andrea Jeremiah for a photoshoot which would have her in a dreamy and contemporary look. I opted to dress her in a flowy, silk Indo-western top and a skirt paired with a chunky necklace. I loved the purple shade of the top, it was rich and had a certain sheen to it. In a complete contrast, the skirt was a neutral shade of grey.
For the make-up I started by prepping Andrea’s skin with hydrant-rich moisturiser, followed by a primer. Then a foundation was dabbed and blended with a beauty blender all over the face, neck and this was followed with a dash of concealing around the eyes too. On the eyes I created a soft nude look with satin finish with an eye shadow, followed by a brown pencil on top and the bottom.
I coated her lashes with hypnosis mascara and highlighted the brow bones with a highlighter. To warm up and highlight Andrea’s I used peach blush and illuminator on cheek bones. I also added a deep plum lipstick with a touch of lip balm. To get the perfect mane, the entire length of the hair was curled with tongs to create movement and texture.
She was given a bit of volume in and bangs were styled to softly fall across her forehead. Finally, a hair fix spray topped with crystal gloss was used to give shine and lustre. Thus, the dreamy look was achieved.
