Yaamiruka Bayamey had Krishna, Oviya, Rupa Manjari and Karunakaran in lead roles and was directed by Deekay. When contacted, a source close to the production unit told DT Next, “YB 2 will have a new star cast. We have spoken to a few leading actors from Kollywood and have discussed dates with them. It will be made on a much bigger scale than the first part.”

RS Infotainment also has a film that will be directed by Vetri Maaran. “He has penned the script and the film will be completely shot in India. Earlier, we had plans to shoot the film overseas and but had to drop the plan due to the pandemic. An announcement on Vetri sir’s project too would be made soon,” the source added.
