The latest update is that popular writer-actor Vela Ramamoorthy, who is known for his books like Kutra Parambarai and Pattathu Yaanai, has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film. A photo of Vela Ramamoorthy with Superstar inside his caravan was doing the rounds on social media. A source in the know of things says, “Vela Ramamoorthy will have many combination scenes with Meena and Rajini. His character will have a grey shade to it and will be a crucial one.”

Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has Keerthy Suresh, Khushbu, Nayanthara and Prakash Raj playing important roles. Meanwhile, Rajini has also signed a film with acclaimed director Lokesh Kanagaraj, which will be produced by actor-politician Kamal Haasan under his home banned Raaj Kamal Films International.
