STR-Vetrimaaran’s Arasan enters second schedule

The star cast includes Vijay Sethupathi and Andrea Jeremiah, where she will be reprising the role of Chandra from Vada Chennai

CHENNAI: One of the much-anticipated projects of recent times is Arasan, directed by Vetrimaaran. Headlined by Silambarasan TR, the team completed the first schedule in Kovilpatti and has entered the second schedule now. Kalaipuli S Thanu, who is backing the film under V Creations, confirmed this development at an event recently.

Thanu said that the second schedule of the film was underway and that STR was punctual on sets. The second schedule is happening in Chennai. Sources say the unit plans to shoot at various places in the city and that the pace will increase from January 20.

The star cast includes Vijay Sethupathi and Andrea Jeremiah, where she will be reprising the role of Chandra from Vada Chennai.

Belonging to the world of Vada Chennai, Arasan will have music by Anirudh Ravichander. For the unversed, Vijay Sethupathi was earlier a part of Dhanush’s Vada Chennai when it was planned by Vetrimaaran in the initial stages along with Dhanush and Jiiva in the last decade.
