CHENNAI: Actress Shweta Tripathi has shared what makes her proud of Indian stories on a global scale. The actress also said that she appreciates how conversations around equality and mental health have found space in the mainstream.

She said, “First, I think one thing that I’m very happy about is seeing global conversations around equality, mental health, and inclusivity finally move into the mainstream. These have become part of our everyday conversations. We are now more aware not just of what is happening with others, but also of what is happening within ourselves - our minds and bodies. I think this shift was required and much needed. There seems to be more understanding, and I really hope that continues to grow, along with empathy. The second thing would be Indian stories finding a confident global voice. Be it our cinema, art, or culture, it is being recognised beyond borders.”
